Free Sample License - The Contract AI Benchmarking Kit

This license covers the free sample of The Contract AI Benchmarking Kit, including
its sample documents, benchmark data, field definitions, and accompanying
materials (“Sample”). The licensor is Leonid Prilutskiy, publisher of The Contract
Signal (“I”).

Single-user license and term. You receive a free, nonexclusive, nontransferable
license for 90 days from your first download or receipt of the Sample from me or my
designated download page (“Evaluation Period”), subject to these terms. Only you
are licensed. Repeat downloads do not restart the period. Email me to request an
extension, which requires my written confirmation.

Sample only. The full Kit requires a separate purchase and license. There is no
obligation to purchase or automatic charge.

What you may do. The Sample is primarily for evaluation and education, including
deciding whether to purchase the Kit. During the Evaluation Period, you may make
private copies, adapt the Sample, evaluate systems, and develop and test workflows,
including for internal business or client work. You may retain, use, and share your
own findings, aggregate results, and workflows during and after this period,
provided they do not contain or reveal benchmark entries or other proprietary Sample content.

Using AI and other tools. During the Evaluation Period, you may upload the
Sample to software or AI services for permitted use, including testing multiple
systems. Keep access limited to you and service providers processing it on your behalf. Use settings and terms that do not permit provider training or unrelated
reuse of the proprietary parts of the Sample. Do not post it to public chats,
repositories, or shared workspaces accessible to other users.

Sharing and redistribution. Except for service-provider access permitted above,
you may not share, sublicense, resell, publish, or give others access to the Sample or
any part of it, including modified copies or benchmark data extracts, without my prior
written permission. Colleagues and clients are welcome to obtain their own copy
through my designated download page. These restrictions continue after the
Evaluation Period ends.

Public sources and ownership. I retain rights in my original content and any
protectable selection or arrangement. I do not claim ownership of underlying third-
party contracts, public facts, or general ideas and methods. This license does not
restrict rights you independently have to obtain or use those underlying sources.
Public availability does not itself mean a source document is free of third-party
rights.

Scope and responsibility. The Sample may contain errors or omissions and may
become outdated. It is not legal advice or a guarantee of system performance,
accuracy, or business results. You are responsible for checking suitability and
results before relying on it. Updates, customization, and advisory support are not
included unless separately agreed in writing. Nothing here excludes rights or
remedies that applicable law does not permit to be excluded.

Permission and compliance. For extensions, permissions, or questions, contact
Leonid.Prilutskiy@hey.com. Any broader permission must be agreed in writing. If
you materially breach this license and do not correct the breach within 14 days after
written notice, I may terminate it early. Notice may be sent to the email address you
provided when requesting or downloading the Sample. This correction period does
not extend the Evaluation Period.

When the license ends. This license expires automatically when the Evaluation
Period ends, unless extended in writing. On expiry or earlier termination, stop using
and delete the Sample and its copies, including adaptations and uploads under your control. Legally required copies and routine backups may remain without further
use until their required retention or normal backup cycle ends. The permission
above to retain and use your own findings, results, and workflows continues.
